Gerard Darel, a classic French label recently launched a flagship store in Guildford, Surrey. The boutique carries the entire Gerard Darel collection including womenswear and accessories including the coveted style classic ‘Jackie’ necklace made famous after being worn by international style icon Jackie Kennedy.

Adored by the likes of Jessica Alba, Eva Longoria and Angelina Jolie, Gerard Darel is a brand of distinction set for further global expansion over the next few years.

The Brief

Assist Gerard Darel set up and launch their very own exclusive in-store and bespoke personal styling service. Achieve this through providing bespoke training to differentiate the service from its mainstream High Street competitors. In addition to this, create and support a comprehensive marketing strategy for maximum success.

The Solution

After an initial meeting with the management team at Gerard Darel to establish objectives, personalities and motivations behind the proposed service, TopStylista developed a fully bespoke intensive 2-day training course that addressed the following:

  • Colour analysis
  • Personal style theory and practice
  • Reading different client requirements
  • Comprehensive marketing consultancy
